Conversation with Cristina Cassar Scalia on the book Sabbia Nera (Einaudi), a crime fiction set in Catania, where the body of a woman mummified by time is discovered in a stately villa. A deputy manager, Giovanna Guarrasi, moves from Palermo to the slopes of Etna where she will investigate the matter.
