Gianluca Ales is a journalist and writer, has worked for SkyTg24 since its foundation, where he is currently host and correspondent. He is special correspondent in scenarios of war, crisis and humanitarian emergencies, from which he told the main conflicts between Lebanon, Israel, Gaza and the Territories, Afghanistan and the Middle East during the last fifteen years. He has published two novels, Una notte sbagliata and Quinto Round published by Imprimatur, and Geli, a long story for Gialli Mondadori.
